With Mauro Lanza and Simone Pappalardo we had an incredible week in Chaux-de-Fond (CH) for the Les Amplitudes festival. With Mauro we performed the whole Systema naturae cycle and then with Simone we played an improvisation setting under the Otosimbionte moniker. Some pics are here
Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca‘s new interactive installation, Alsaxy, has been presented at Shadok centre for digital arts, Strasburg, on 22/10/2015 and will be open until january. I made all the music and sound design. Huge work but wonderful result.
My new album featuring music written for Marcelli Antúnez Roca’s interactive performance Ultraorbism is out for Studiolo Laps. It features tracks that have been composed by recording physical setups controlled live via computer. Check it here.
As SMET (School of Electronic Music of Conservatorio of Torino) and CIRMA/DAMS we organised a concert for disklavier and various setups. I participated with Orologio da rote (2014) for disklavier and 3 radios, a piece-installation dedicated to the notion of clocks and hours signals. Here some pics.
Marcel·lì Antúnez Roca has put on line a lot of video materials concerning Pseudo. Be sure to look here and here. Featured music can be heard here.
I’m very happy to announce that my new (old) album Acta GeoGraphica is out for Ripples, that collects my electronic works based on the GeoGraphy algorithmic environment from 2001 to 2007. A special thanks to Ennio Mazzon is due.
On March 27/28, together with Stefano Bassanese, we organized a two-day seminar dedicated to Italian pioneer of electronic music Enore Zaffiri. In the occasion, we discussed his opus and dedicated him a concert with electronic and instrumental music. I played my reconstructed version of Zaffiri’ 1968 masterpiece “Musica per un anno” on four channels. Some shots here.
Not really new, but still fresh. Gianpaolo from soundesign has kindly dedicated me an interview. Soundesign is an up-to-date source of valuable infos on audio, music, sound design: thanks!
