Filibus! Live at Cinema Massimo
It’s been a while without posting. So, without covering old news, the new news. Arto fantasma played live over Filibus, an impressive film by M. Roncoroni (1915). Periplo at SMC22
This year SMC has not been organized by me (as the previous two online edition, blame COVID). It was in St. Étienne and with my colleague Valeriya Korol we presented a paper, “For LISA. Music Composition from Gravitational waves” explaining the process that went from Valeriya’s GWD data, for the LISA mission, to my piece for prepared piano. On July 28th we also had the chance to present it at LISA meeting. You can check the paper here. And the music is here.
Pigro-zia
Thanks to Tempo Reale, on 04/05/2022 I had the chance of doing live coding (first time ever in a proper sense…) in the homage they paid to the great Pietro Grossi. So I played my SuperCollisione PiGra, of course with SuperCollider. Here it is on YouTube.
Orchestre residuali: a documentary
Thanks to Marco Masoero, I’ve been invited for the Teknologhia cycle of events, inside Polincontri, Politecnico di Torino. In the occasione Carlo Barbagallo and Elaine Bonsangue have shot and edited a wonderful documentary on some of my works, here on YouTube. We discussed it live on 22/04/2022 at Politecnico di Torino.
Live at Parade électronique
On 16/10/2021 I’ve been invited to play at Parade électronique, Teatro Arsenale, Milan. Thanks to the crew at MMTCreativeLab. I performed a set called “Paesaggio con figure”, with radio and custom zither (“cetri”). Live rec on YouTube here. Dialogue with Jacopo Panfili is here.
