Testing the VEP over a multichannel setup
We have tested a multichannel rendering of our VEP application at the VRMMP. The new version will be premiered in New York, at The Drawing Center, on Jan 15 2010, for an exhibition dedicated to Iannis Xenakis. Some photos on flickr here
Documenting the rumentarium

sc140 on The Wire
I have participated to the sc140 compilation. That is: 140 SuperCollider chars to make music, like in a Twitter post (from where the compilation originated). The compilation is now a feature on The Wire’s website.
La terra guasta: rumentarium at Galleria Allegretti for Share Festival
On Nov 7 2009, I’ll present a concert/installation with Ramon Moro (trumpet, a special one…), maybe Dario Bruna on percussions, and with Paolo Armao (sound design) at Galleria Allegretti in Torino for the Share Festival. In the occasion of Torino’s “Notte Bianca” (hmm, how do you say it?) of contemporary arts. I will probably present a 24-piece setup for rumentarium. The installation is entitled “La terra guasta“.
In Scena: concert series by Fiarì ensemble
Fiarì ensemble organizes a contemporary music series of concerts, In scena, (with free entrance) in Torino.
I have collaborated with the organization of the one dedicate to live electronics. My new work for flute and rumentarium will be (hopefully…I’m scoring it…), Detti del Tuono, will be performed on Dec 3 at Teatro Vittoria. The concert will also feature prèmieres by Domenico Sciajno, Joshua Parmenter, Federico Placidi, Donald Craig.

I wil present an analysis of the (notorious) opening sequence of Leone’s Once Upon a Time in the West at the conference at the second seminar on sound and image at DAMS, Torino, October 26/27 2009.

Eva Sauer‘s “Last night a blue thing drifted down the valley“, exhibition in Prato (AFT, Archivio Fotografico Toscano), will include our collaboration Rohbauten, a video based on Eva shooting, edited by Michela Franzoso, and including my Vedute for Rumentarium (including these pieces).

We (Vincenzo Lombardo, me, Fabrizio Nunnari) will present a paper on the Tabula ex-cambio installation at the ACM multimedia conference in Beijing, Oct 19-23, for the Interactive Art Program.

Recording I 6 nodi
Andrea Rebaudengo will try out is passion for contemporary music idiosyncrasy by recording my three-part piece “I 6 nodi (primo emiciclo)” in Genova, a project for the SuonoSonda Journal. The challenge will take place on Oct 4.
