On April 19th, 2013 I’ve been invited in Padua by the local Association of Engineers to speak about Poème électronique, and Xenakis’ role and aesthetics. It was a nice day, with a very interested audience. The meeting was inserted into a series named “The cultivated soul of the engineer”.
On Dec 2nd we will be in Athens at Megaron to present the VEP project with a concert using my 8 chans implementation. Helas I would not be there!
The VEP project in NY has been reviewed by The Wire, March 2010.
It seems that the audio processing stuff I implemented worked fine: “the digital manipulation of the original sound material was admirable and effective”.
Here some shots from NY. Great success (and so much fun). (Maybe L.A.? Let’s see)
