I’m proud to have been invited to speak at the Alighiero e Boetti Day, the 12 hour meeting dedicated to great artist. I will try to maximally bore the audience with a formalization of an algorithm that AeB had just described.
Thanks to Salvatore Livecchi, I held two workshops in Aosta, dedicated to Rumentarium on April 18th and on May 2nd to Sound Design (with Paolo Armao). Big fun!
On 9-10 May 2011 I’ll give a free SuperCollider workshop here in Turin, at Lab Quazza, University of Turin. Just drop me a line if interested.
Massimo Carlentini and his associates has organized the festival DI_Stanze in Catania. I have contributed on Apr 12th with a 4 channel version of Detti del tuono, and I have presented it via Skype.
It seems incredible but The SuperCollider Book is finally out by MIT Press. We have contributed with a chapter n the VEP project.
Nomura by CLG Ensemble has been performed at Cavallerizza in Torino on March 27th. The kids have performed my Manoscritti, written in the occasion and including structurally improvisation. Here‘s a rec!
The new, interactive, multimedia space of “The House of Ancient Remedies” will open on saturday Febr 5th. The hall of plants will include sound design for six different plants made by me an Paolo Armao. More soon.

I’ve been asked to compose the music for Marcel•lì Antuñez Roca’s new work, “Cotrone“, inspired by Pirandello’s I Giganti della Montagna. It will be premiered on Nov 14 2010 in Turin, at the Cavalerizza Reale. Then, on Dec 12th it will be performed in Girona, Spain. Working like a dog, but it’s an exciting experience.
Paolo Armao was already in the project, so we decided to integrate music and sound design as strictly as possible.
