Here a wonderful video documenting the work I did with colleague Jörg Kiefel and the students in Cologne in the occasion of the DAAD guest professorship in Detmold, winter 2016/17.

As the final event of my DAAD guest professorship, we will present with the students an exhibition of multimedia installations at the Passagen Köln, between 17 and 22 jan 17. On Sat 21 I will play at St Michael church live impro with Simone Pappalardo. I’ll bring 12 hacked radios.

Wonderful rendition of Regnum vegetabile by the specialist, ensemble mosaik, that invited me at Klangspuren Schwaz Festival on 10/09/2016 for the Diskrete Machinen concert. Here some pics.

So at the end we did it. With Mauro Lanza, after a complex production journey, we finished the third piece of our cycle Systema naturae, Regnum lapideum. A commission by ensemble 2e2m as a result of our residence of this year, they premiered it under the direction of Pierre Roller at the CCR in Paris, on April 29th. Here some shots.

With Mauro Lanza we’ve been invited at Archipel festival in Geneva to perform with NEC ensemble our Regnum animale on 16/03/2016. NEC also performed the piece in Neuchâtel (Foundation Dürrenmatt, 18/3/2016) and Winterthur (Theater am Gleis, 3/4/2016). So, a mini Swiss tour. Here and here some pics.

With Mauro Lanza we have played Regnum animale with Ensemble 2e2m, as a part of the residency project of this year, at the CRR in Paris.

Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca’s multimedia performance Ultraorbism -featuring my live music- has been awarded at Japan Media Art Award and shown at the related exhibit. And so we flew to Tokyo to perform it twice at Instituto Cervantes on Feb 04 2016 .

As a part of the project that Ensemble 2e2m has dedicated to the work we did with Mauro Lanza, on Jan 19 2e2m has played Regnum vegetabile at the CRR in Paris. And they presented the book that they dedicated to the cycle, Systema nature.

In Dec 2015 we did a new edition of the Officine sintetiche project (founded by Fondazione CRT, a collaboration between StudiUm department, CIRMA UniTo, PoliTo and ConsTo, SMET). We did two workshops respectively by Mark Coniglio (Isadora) and Simone Pappalardo (DIY feedback music instruments), and finished with a performance at Superbudda. Thanks Finder for technical sponsorship. Here some pics I collected and the video of the performance I did with Simone Pappalardo (here).
